Posted by hneelu on June 9, 2009

If you have created a PHP project but you realized that you want a CF one instead, fret no more. You can change the server technology of any project in Flash Builder 4.

Example: Changing from a non server technology project to a php one.

Step1: There are two ways of doing it.
a. Using DCD : Click in Connect to Data/Service link in Service/Data view.

Select the PHP service option.

Click Yes.  Now See Step 2.

b. Using Properties: Right click on the project and select Properties from the context menu

Step 2: Select option Flex Server.

In this dialog, select the Server Technology to be used. Here, I using PHP.
I need to enter Webroot and Root URL. I also need to change the output folder so that it rests inside the webroot.

Step 3: Enter the valid values and click Validate Configuration button.

In the similar manner you can change the server technologies of the project.
